It was a Saturday. The second Saturday in May to be exact. The day Sarah Jane & Dane wed. Family and friends gathered in the town of Cherokee, Oklahoma while Sarah Jane and Dane anxiously put on their final touches: cufflinks, earrings, and lastly shoes. Sarah Jane intended to wear high heals for the ceremony, but opted for her cowboy boots instead. Dane made a note to carry his family heirloom: a pocket watch. For their first look, they met in a field surrounded by lush trees and singing birds, where Dane had proposed to Sarah Jane. Later that evening the reception was held in their family barn, combines were moved out and the barn was completely transformed into a room sprinkled with flowers and twinkle lights. Sarah Jane had her special touch on all the details of the day and her vision was absolutely breathtaking. Cast-iron chandeliers made by the hands of the groom illuminated the room. Dane did such an incredible job crafting the chandeliers. The night ended with dancing, country music rippling through the open air, and the sun fading down the sky.
Sarah Jane and Dane, thank you for allowing me to share one of the most important days of your lives with you and thank you for the honor of documenting your love. Your love for one another resonated throughout the entire day. Many blessings, Caroline
